[The feed switches on. Raven is sitting by the lake, staring at the water. The sun is setting behind the horizon. It's almost completely gone. Perfect date setting. Raven talks quietly as if someone was there with her.]

It's the first time you've ever stood me up, Harry. [A slight smirk.] ...And I can't even blame you for it.

[She picks up the PCD and looks just as impassible as always.]

For those who knew him, my boyfriend, Harry Potter is not here anymore.

And it seems that Spike has been sent back too. So if anyone else needs something to bleach their hair, just ask me. I'd hate to see the solution I prepared for him go to waste.

[And she cuts the feed. See Rei? She's learning. It doesn't hurt any less but at least she's getting better at hiding it.]

[Sorry, Jinx. Although, deep down, Raven senses your concern, she can't help but being cold. As if she wanted to provoke you into coming here and fight her.]

[Raven notices the background of Horst's feed and gets there directly instead of replying over the PCD. She enters the bar by phasing through the door. And gives him a short nod in greeting.]

I thought I already did that. [She's been spending a couple of nights each week at his place already. And she can't do much more without Hinata starting to thing she's moving out.]

[She comes to lean against the counter.] Meaning Arthur and Merlin aren't friendly enough to your liking? They've be grinning like mad all last week. One'd have thought you'd have had enough of friendly faces after that.

[Raven looks calm and serene. And her sarcasm sounds just as usual. Only the vacant look in her eyes shows that somethings off.]

[She looks up at him for the barest moment. She knows he's thinking about Al right now and how it would feel if he was in her place, and Al was gone.]

At least there's nothing to regret. [They tried to make the best of it. Within the time they were given.]

Ah, thanks... [Whoever you are. If you've met before, she doesn't remember.]

Not everyone, hopefully. [Playing on words. But it helps making it less dramatic, more bearable somehow.] But a fair few it seems.

[She shrugs, not realizing he can't see it.] People come and people go, that's how this place works.

All of our feelings are selfish to some extent. It's in their nature and there's nothing we can do about it.
