Careful what you wish for they say, but well... You won't say I didn't warn you.
[She's stalling, that much is obvious. She smooths one tail of her cloak. And then pours herself some more tea.]
Once there was a dragon whose name was Malchior. He lived about a thousand years before my time and he was a powerful Dark Wizard too. One day he found his match though: another powerful wizard whose name was Rorek. This one was a good wizard and although he didn't manage to defeat Malchior completely, he managed to trap it into a magic book.
A thousand years later, a young half-demon sorceress found that book. As she began reading the story of those two wizards, Malchior understood this was his opportunity to be set free. He magically switches the names of Rorek and Malchior everywhere in the text, so that Rorek became the evil dragon and Malchior was now the good wizard who had been unfairly trapped into the book. He also added a sketch of the young sorceress at the end of book. Then he used magic to allow the girl to hear his voice and convince her she was the one he had been waiting for for a thousand years and who was supposed to free him.
[During all that speech, she's carefully avoided looking at Leon. And she still doesn't meet his gaze as she picks up her mug and takes a sip.]
