Nineteenth Prophecy: Goodbye my lover, goodbye my friend [Video]

[The feed switches on. Raven is sitting by the lake, staring at the water. The sun is setting behind the horizon. It's almost completely gone. Perfect date setting. Raven talks quietly as if someone was there with her.]

It's the first time you've ever stood me up, Harry. [A slight smirk.] ...And I can't even blame you for it.

[She picks up the PCD and looks just as impassible as always.]

For those who knew him, my boyfriend, Harry Potter is not here anymore.

And it seems that Spike has been sent back too. So if anyone else needs something to bleach their hair, just ask me. I'd hate to see the solution I prepared for him go to waste.

[And she cuts the feed. See Rei? She's learning. It doesn't hurt any less but at least she's getting better at hiding it.]

[That brings a smile to her face, even if it's tinged with sadness. True love always makes her smile.]

Then you will find a way to return to one another, somehow. I am not clever enough to know by what method, but it will happen. Of that, I am certain. Just as I am certain that my Romeo will come for me here, one day.

[She tries to think back over what people have said regarding this place.]

Then it is the men of learning who caused such things? The ones who have vanished?

[Raven nods and gives her a small smile in return.] Thank you, Juliet. [Raven does not believe in God but she knows Juliet does.] Would you say a prayer for me? Maybe that'll help him remember me. [Wherever he is and if he ever comes back.]

The scientists, you mean? We don't know if they've vanished or just hiding somewhere. But I'd say that 'world' they created, Adstringendum, is like a machine which got out of control and know just works on its own. [Following rules, respecting pre-registered parameters people here don't know about.]

Of course I will. I would be glad to do so.

[Her smile widens at being asked. It is something she can do to help. She is certain that God will hear the request, and perhaps honor it, if such things are meant to be.]

I - yes, the scientists. The word is not entirely familiar to me. Is not hiding a type of vanishing? We know not where they are, so they have in effect vanished from us.

[Machines make little sense to her. She's glad enough to know how to make a PCD work. So she only nods at that.]

I guess it is. In a sense. But if they're hiding, there's still a chance for us to find them again.

Oh, would that we could find them again. They must know how to fix things in this place, mustn't they?

Well they should, yes. [And Raven certainly hopes so.]

Then when we do find them, they may set things to right. And perhaps tell us how we may visit those whom we hold dear but who have left this place, or have not yet found their way to it.

[Somehow Raven doubts it. Because if the scientists were actually that skilled, they wouldn't have messed up with things that badly to begin with. Or they would have fixed it by now. But she knows people like Juliet need genuine hope to go on, so she settles for being elusive.] It'll be worth asking them if we find them.

And if they don't know or aren't here, well, we'll try and find another way to achieve that.

[She nods. The thought has crossed her mind that perhaps the men of learning had created this through accident, but she doesn't like to entertain that particular notion.]

With all of the clever people here, I am certain such a thing is possible.
