Your housemates, maybe? Captain Urahara, if you know him, also seems to often get involved in that kind of urbanism projects.

[The title surprised Leon more than anything.]

Well yeah. He's a shinigami captain. Just like Unohana. [She has no problem sharing this with Leon.]

[He digested this information and didn't say anything. The harmless looking man that hid under a dual coloured hat and behind a fan..a captain like Ukitake. Appearances were definitely deceiving here.]

What's a shinigami anyway?

[Well Urahara denied it when Raven asked but there's no mistaking how powerful his aura is. The truth lies in between since he's an ex-captain, but Raven can't guess that. And it's not like it changes anything here. He's a powerful ally as far as Raven is concerned, they've fought side by side more than once.]

Well as far as I understood it, they're spirits who live in an heavenly realm called Seireitei. They occasionally come to Earth to help pure souls find their ways to that realm and destroy corrupted souls. There's probably more to it, though.

Yes. There were more of them when I arrived but they seem to be the only ones left now.

...I don't know, really. I think they're not mortal. But that doesn't they're dead.

Takes all kinds here, and if they're not causing trouble then I really can't see a problem with it.

[Raven notices and her smirk only widens.] Way to make a girl feel special. In a good way. Too bad we're both taken. [She's teasing, of course. Still she gets up and leans in over the table to kiss Leon's cheek. Because he's always there for her, and she's grateful for that.]

You know when I said it was the first time in eighteen years I was given a stuffed animal? I was mistaken. One of my teammates won a plush at a carnival once. A giant chicken. And he gave it to me. It was half my size and I must have looked completely ridiculous, carrying it around. ...Funny I just remember this now.

[Sometimes it's as if her memories from home belonged to someone else, or were from a past life.]

[Leon almost chokes on his tea at that comment. And then his face turns slightly redder with the kiss. And he made sure he focused on what she was saying because the rest of him was just confused at first, and then amused at the mental image.]

Whatever happened to the chicken? You didn't eat it, right?

[Raven rolls her eyes as she sits back down.]

It was a stuffed toy, Leon. Of course I didn't eat it.

...I gave it to Starfire so that it could be a friend to her pet giant silkworm.

[Getting Raven on the defensive worked because it gave Leon time to recover.]

Giant silkworm?

Yeah. It's the size of a dog. Star named it Silkie.

Isn't the dog star..Sirius or something?

Sirius is in a constellation..Canis Major was it?

[Leon nodded]

I'm pretty sure that's right.

Right. But stars and constellations have nothing to do with what I was saying. At all.

So Starfire, Star, is the name of my teammate. She has a pet silkworm whose name is Silkie. But Silkie is not a standard silkworm, she's a giant one. She's about the same size as a dog. Is it clearer that way?
