[Raven's lying on her bed when her PCD starts beeping. She feels physically and mentally exhausted and she almost doesn't pick up her phone. But eventually she does. And almost drops her PCD as she discovers Castiel's face.]

[Her hands is shaking a bit.]

Where are you?

[It's as if she needed to make sure he was here for real.]

[Raven quirks a surprised eyebrow as she reads that message before pocketing her PCD and heading for her house's front door. Had she received this message from anyone else she probably wouldn't have or would have asked for details. But this is Katara.

So she opens the door.]

[He'd been writing letters for a while, convinced the Animus was working to send him home despite his wishes. Raven's letter is stuffed in the wood of a fence post not far from her place, as if Sokka has staged his notes around town to keep them from being discovered immediately.]

[This letter was apparently started before their trip to the Inner City and added to multiple times.]

We go into battle knowing that we may not come back. You, me, them. We go because we're warriors and that's what warriors do. You follow me. Not because you want to, but because you need to. Because you're you and there's no changing you. Warrior. Friend. Sister.

Most people would show fear. You don't. I admire that quality, Raven, because I know there is fear, and that you worry just as much as the rest of us, but you don't let it stop you.

I spend a lot of time thinking about how you've changed me. There was a time I didn't care so much about the world around me, or the people that weren't in my circle. Making friends wasn't necessary because I had friends. But then I met you, and Harry, and Hermione, and I realized that there's always room. There's always room for family, for dedication, for love.

Truthfully, I didn't need to make room for you. In a way, I always had a place, I think, and you found your way there, as rightfully as any sister -- like a sibling long lost. But we're family reunited now, and no matter what, we'll always be connected. Warriors and kin, friends and siblings.

[He probably meant to write more, but this was all the further her got, sadly. Still, the words will hold true well after he's gone.]

I just wanted to let you know that Albedo, Gaignun and apparently a girl Rubedo knows named Jenny moved in. However, I've still got a room open if you're interested.

[Raven calls him back a short while after he left this message. It's funny because she had mean to offer him a place to stay too. And then she had learnt that Rubedo and Gaignun had moved in with him and she had just been glad they could be together.]

I know. And it means a lot, Leon.

[She pauses.]

I'll think about it, okay?

[Leon's new household might be just a tad 'too' lively for her now. Even if she likes the twins a lot. But on the other hand, it might remind her of the Titans Tower and of her teammates.]

I'm glad you guys can look after each other, though. And I'm looking forward to meeting this Jenny.

[Horst set up this date. A candle (which he had made himself, from the remnants of a dozen other candles and some braided twine), some food he'd cooked himself, some cards for playing games, and a book of poems. He doubts they'll get to the book.]

[Raven steps in to find Horst and everything he's set up. Now she understands why he's insisted so much on knowing at what time she would come back home. The food smells delicious and she's quite hungry. She's forgotten to eat today. Again. Also it shows it took him time and effort to prepare all this. She tries to smile but it doesn't quite reach her eyes.

She's felt so empty since she killed Alex. She's felt sick until the day when the boy came back. But even now that he is... He can't speak anymore. And she can't help but blame herself for that.]

Maybe when she saw Cas' ID on her PCD, she'd hoped for a second that he was calling to ask about her or something. ...Nevermind. It seems they've been growing apart lately. Raven doesn't want that but she's not sure what to do about it either.]

You could at least have introduced him to me before handing out the keys of the tower to him.
