i think he was affected but i dont see how the event could have done much. its far more likely that he simply has a violent nature and all it takes is a small push for him to attack others

i didnt check up on all of them but most seemed to be fairly injured, though still alive. very drained of blood

Still he deserves to be given the opportunity to defend himself and explain his actions.

A lot of us here have a violent nature. [And it wouldn't take much for them to attack other people too.]

Well I guess it's expected when attacked by a vampire. Though I believe it takes some self-restraint for them not to drain someone of all their blood.

Have you thought of a punishment?

Temporary suspension might be an option. However I don't think removing him from the squad altogether is a good idea.

As for imprisonment, how long would you suggest keeping him in jail?

i dont know. punishment in my world is death.

[If only that were an option here. This is one of the reasons that Rome knows he needs Raven though- she balances him out. While he's usually level headed, there are some things that make him harsh, angry- vampires just so happen to be one of them.]

He didn't kill anyone, Rome. And even if he had killed someone... The role of our squad is to protect all citizens. Armand needs to be protected just like anyone else. Against himself and against people who'd seek revenge against him.

As a leader, you can't let prejudice blind you.

We're not here to forgive people. Or to like them. Just to keep them safe and prevent them from harming others.

in the old days vampires would steal away wolf children for their blood. in return the wolves hunted the vampires by day and destroyed them. for thousands of years this would happen in cycles. the two species evolved fighting one another

disliking them is not simply because they harm others for their own selfish survival. it is in my blood

Well as difficult as it might be for you to understand that, Armand is not from the same world as you. So even if he's a vampire, he's still of a different kind. And you can't blame him for what other vampires did to your people back home.

...I do understand it's a difficult case to deal with for you. But if I didn't think you could do it, I wouldn't have agreed to you becoming the leader of the Protection Squad.
